Bio
I am a compassionate Mental Health Counselor Associate with years of experience in the mental health field in California and Oregon. I care deeply about supporting people in reaching their relational, emotional, and mental health goals.
When working with clients, I aim to build a strong therapeutic alliance by attuning to their heart’s story and supporting them in the areas where they feel the most stuck. I am dedicated to creating a warm environment that allows people to explore, comprehend, and inspire change within themselves and their relationships.
I work from a trauma-informed, attachment-based, psychodynamic framework that focuses on people’s relationships across the entire lifespan, including those with primary caregivers, friends, romantic partners, siblings, neighbors, colleagues, and the relationship with self.
Treatment plans incorporate a range of evidence-based modalities drawn from The Gottman Method, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Compassion-Focused Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to guide the healing process.
I work with couples, families, and individuals with a particular passion for supporting those with attachment and relational issues. I can help with marital conflict, affairs, relational problems, parent-child bonding, life transitions, depression, trauma, anxiety, phobias, social anxiety, self-esteem, and perinatal depression, amongst other mental health concerns.
Through the therapeutic journey, clients will work toward fostering stronger connections, learning adaptive coping skills, practicing psychological flexibility, deepening understanding of their emotional needs, and rebuilding attachment security. I truly believe that everyone can heal and overcome. Sometimes, people merely need a roadmap and a caring support system to walk alongside them during their healing journey.
